The tyrannical and dictatorial ruling in Senegal must always be checkmated as series of human rights abuses vis-a-vis detention, extra-judicial killings and political intimidation of political opponents and activist championing the cause of human rights in Senegal.
Guy Marius Sagnal is a household political name in political and activism scenario of Senegal and has been one among few at logger head with unjust government of Senegal but when the oppressive and undemocratic government identify a personality as an obstacle to their wrong doings, series of allegations will be cooked up to silence the activist. Guy made the position based on information at the disposal of every Senegalese but the charges are just nothing but a flimsy excuse. The issues are people's based and what has happened to the economy of Senegal? What of health institution in the Senegal and why do they need to move out of the country while they leave innocent citizens at the mercy of death?
GUY as a political detainee was charged within 72 hours but this shouldn't stop activists from taking the bold steps against the anti-people policies of the government and GUY release from prison will be more meaningful if other charter of demands could be added. Better welfare of the working class, good health condition etc.
The case of GUY shouldn't be ignored by all concerned citizens political opponents and activists in the country as what happened to GUY can also happen any individual opposing the injustice and unjust government..
