It is of good note to appreciate the writer of this article for recognising some basic facts as it affect the socio economic situation of nigeria but from a wrong perspectives. The arguement of idle area boys is an appreciation is a Plus because it exposes irresponsibility of our government. The monsters like: area boys, boko haram, cultism, robbery and prostitution did not come from JUPITER, but were created by the government's anti poor policies. The propaganda of APC to demoralize UADs action and protest is more or less a kindergaten weapon and it is better if a constructive arguement can be put in place to come out and defend issues raised by UAD.
The campaign and protest of UAD on austerity, inflation, unemployment, insecurity is a challenge posed on the government led by Buhari/APC and a challenge on its ineffectiveness in policy making likewise failure to apply 2015 presidential manifesto of APC as a party. The recent protest of UAD further exposed the insincerity of our government on health issues. Why must the president on a 10 days vacation on health issues when billions of naira was allocated to Aso Rock clinic in 2016 budget? So unfortunate, You people lost all sectors of the economy to the saboteurs which has increased our inflation by 18%, professionalism in corrupt practices and abuse of power.
Chapter!! Section 15(5) of our constitution states that: The state shall abolish all corrupt practices and abuse of power. Have they not violated the section? Have they not silenced the judiciary and twisting it( Nnamdi Kanu and Zakkyzaky).
NLC is not an organ of the state but a megaphone of the working masses, NLC recognises the fact to stand by organisations like UAD, to fight against the poor peoples policy of Buhari administration and IMF, world bank.
